Two Step (2 Step) is a very popular & fun dance in Country Night Clubs around the country. This partner dance proceeds counter-clockwise in a circle or oval around the dance floor. Partners usually begin in a closed position with the leader facing down line of dance. Basic Two Step consists of two quick steps followed by two slow steps (or two slow steps followed by two quick steps). After mastering the basic, there are many variations of the step pattern. Two Step is generally danced in a range of tempos between 180-210 bpm.
